Following the plough year after year,

Farmers are vexed of late and fear.

Paddy seedlings are just in the ear,

Longing for a storm from the blue they peer.

Much to their regret the evening glow is inhumane,

The rainbow is dispelled as it appears.

They gaze into the sky for a timely rain,

Wishing nimbus would appear and remain.
