现在正值炎炎夏日，Canace老师要给大家一句“冷冷的”口语消消暑：The wind really chills me to the bone. 首先咱们来了解一下chill这个单词，作为动词含义是“（使）变冷、使恐惧”。比如说The night air chilled his bones. 夜间的寒气使他感到冰冷彻骨。 表达“冰冷彻骨”其实可以用上一个更好的短语：chill to the bone，冷到骨髓。The wind really chills me to the bone. 这寒风真是刺骨。 咱们要注意的是chill to the bone除了表达生理上的冷以外，从心理上来说，还可以表示使人感到害怕，比如： This is a film that will chill you to the bone. 这是部会让你毛骨悚然的电影。

2. You know, it occurs to me you could solve all your problems by obtaining more money.
这句话来自于美剧《生活大爆炸》。意思是：依我看，你的所有问题都可以通过多挣点钱来解决。那么这里有一个固定句型是It occurs to sb. that...Occur表示“发生”。It occurs to sb. that...意思是（某人）想起...其中that可以省略。我突然想起在什么地方见过他—It occurred to me suddenly that I had met him somewhere. 我突然发觉她嫉妒我—It occurred to me that she was jealous of me. Solve problems是“解决问题”的意思。You know, it occurs to me you could solve all your problems by obtaining more money. 依我看，你的所有问题都可以通过多挣点钱来解决。我也希望如此，关键是我没有钱。

3.She got cold feet before her wedding.
这句话里值得我们学习的是短语get cold feet。Cold 是冷的意思， feet就是两只脚。Get cold feet，字面是双腿冰冷。实际的含义是指临时上场感到胆怯。其实有点儿类似中文里的吓得双腿都发软。Every time i want to ask her out , i get cold feet. 每次我想约她出去，都打退堂鼓。
这样怎么行呢？追女孩就是胆大心细脸皮厚。所以在对幸福的追求面前，可不要get cold feet。She got cold feet before her wedding意思是她在结婚之前临阵脱逃，简单来说就是“她逃婚了”。
