It can produce more than 75,000 liters of clean drinking water per day, generate electricity and produce medical grade oxygen. It's called the Hydra and the team of scientists behind it say it will change the face of disaster relief.

All of these elements combined to make hydra a powerful tool in disaster zones like Haiti after a massive earthquake that millions of people without clean water and electricity.

And every year 3.5 million people die of water-related diseases. The price tag on a Hydra unit 95,000 dollars. Its developers say it's a small price to pay for the amount of good it can do.
